Production Facilities

Company Profile

1. Surface mount technology enables tiny components to be spot-soldered to PCBs. This allows for ever more advanced circuits and space-saving designs. 2. Our hand-assembly staff work in a clean environment and are all trained in the necessary skills.

One of the the largest custom-designed electronics and audio manufacturing facilities in the world, IAG's main plant in Shenzhen's 'Special Economic Zone' is designed around a process flow model. Manufacturing with step-by-step streamlined manufacturing processes, it is a model of excellence in manufacturing planning.

Almost complete vertical integration means we are able to manufacture virtually every part of every product on-site allowing us complete control of costs and quality throughout each stage of each process. A collateral effect of this is to rationalise the process of new product development. Direct access to raw materials and tooling equipment mean that prototypes can be translated directly into finished products following final beta testing.

Control systems at each point in the manufacturing process with effective feedback loops are integrated into a 'Total Quality Management' process which, in 2002, was awarded ISO certification.

Our facilities are second to none. Aside from the spotlessly clean environment, we have the latest and most advanced industrial machinery, allowing us to replace third-party suppliers whilst maintaining and even improving efficiency in the production of sub-assemblies.

Not only do we have our own injection molding, casting and stamping machines, we pursue vertical integration to include production of our own cables for use in internal wiring, our own PCB manufacture facility using the very latest surfacemount technology, our own 'lead-free' flow solder machines to comply with the latest European recycling and hazardous substance directives, our own 'dichroic' lens production facility.

In addition to this, we employ over 1,300 full-time staff members. They enjoy a clean and safe working environment that would embarrass most high-technology manufacturers.

Accommodation, food and uniforms are provided for all employees as well as the health and safety equipment required for their job and full training to use it effectively.

All line employees are trained in advanced soldering and production techniques and taught all of the skills required to meet our high quality standards. We conduct regular seminars to update employee skills.
